ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Shirley!
I'm a wife and mama in the SF Bay Area.

I have been a home chef since the age of 6, cooking for my 2 younger sisters while my parents worked from morning until dusk. Growing up poor in rural Hong Kong was not easy, as I had to hold down the fort at home much earlier than a lot of people, but that gave me a head start in the kitchen!

Throughout the decades, I have created many of my own original dishes, refining them over the years. I cook a lot of Hong Kong-style food as well as other Asian and Western dishes - all with my own twist.
​
I cook for friends and family, who often ask me for my recipes. So I thought I'd share them right here.
