A light dessert with fresh bananas!

Banana Cream Puffs

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet frozen ready-to-bake puff pastry, thawed and cut into 12 pieces

  • 4 ripe bananas, thinly sliced diagonally

  • 2 cups store-bought tapioca pudding

  • 1 bottle ready-to-use whipped cream

  • 1 tablespoon confectioners’ sugar

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F

  2. Place puff pastry pieces on baking sheet

  3. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and puffed

  4. Let cool, about 5 minutes

  5. Split pastry pieces

  6. Remove tops and set aside

  7. Combine bananas and tapioca pudding and mix well

  8. Layer banana mixture on the soft side of bottoms

  9. Spray whipped cream

  10. Replace tops

  11. Dust cream puffs with confectioners’s sugar

  12. Serve immediately
