This one is a little foreign for some, but a beloved dish in Chinese culture!

Cold Shredded Chicken With Chili Sauce
Cold Shredded Chicken With Chili Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cooked chicken or leftover chicken, shredded

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 stalks green onion, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon Zhenjiang vinegar

  • 1 tablespoon mature vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons homemade Sichuan fried chili oil or Lao Gan Ma chili oil

  • 1/4 cup chicken broth



Method:

  1. In a bowl, combine garlic, green onions, cilantro, soy sauce, sugar, vinegars, chili oil and chicken broth and mix well

  2. Pour sauce over shredded chicken

  3. Serve cold


NOTE: All ingredients can be found at Chinese markets.
