Green onions can be paired with almost any Chinese dish to enhance the flavors!
Ingredients:
1 lb shrimp, shelled and deveined
1 box firm tofu, cut into slices
4 cloves garlic, chopped
4 stalks green onion, chopped
3 tablespoons oil
1 tablespoon Sichuan hot pot soup base
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
2 teaspoons water
Method:
Heat oil in pan over medium high heat
Add shrimp to pan and stir fry until shrimp starts to curl up
Remove shrimp from pan and set aside
Add tofu to the same pan and brown both sides
Return shrimp to pan
Add garlic, hot pot soup base, soy sauce, sugar and water and stir well
Add green onions
Serve warm
