Taking the aroma of fresh onions to create other dishes!
Ingredients:
1 medium red onion, sliced
White part of 2 leeks, sliced
White part of 5 stalks green onion
Stems of 1 bundle cilantro
1 shallot, sliced
Few slices ginger
1 teaspoon Sichuan pepper corn
5 cups vegetable oil
Method:
Cook all ingredients in pot over medium low heat for 1 hour
Turn heat to medium and cook until spices turn brown but not burnt
Remove all spices from oil and save for other dishes
Let oil cool
Store oil in glass container
