A lot of amazing flavors combined to create this unique dish!
Ingredients:
1 box firm tofu, cut into 12 pieces and dried with paper towel
2 Chinese sausages, cut into slices diagonally
6 dried shiitake mushrooms, soaked and stems removed
4 cloves garlic, chopped
A few slices ginger
2 stalks green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon vegan xo sauce
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon cooking wine
1 tablespoon oil
2 cups water from soaking mushroom
Method:
Heat oil in pan over medium high heat
Place tofu to pan and cook till slightly brown both sides
Remove tofu from pan
Add garlic, ginger and green onions and stir a few time
Add Chinese sausages and mushrooms and stir few times
Add tofu back to pan
Add soy sauce, xo sausage, oyster sauce, sugar and wine and mix well
Pour mushroom water into pan and stir well
Cover pan and bring to a boil
Cook until 80% of sauce reduced
Top with cilantro
Serve warm
