Jicama, Chinese Celery, Bean Curd Stir Fry

The perfect trifecta!

 Tri Stir Fry
Tri Stir Fry

Ingredients:

  • 1 small jicama, peeled and cut into strips

  • 1 bundle Chinese celery, cleaned, leaves discarded and cut into strips

  • 2 pieces spicy dried bean curd, cut into strips

  • 4 cloves garlic, peeled and smashed

  • 1/2 chili pepper, chopped

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar

  • Salt, optional


Method:

  1. Heat oil in pan over medium high heat

  2. Add garlic and chili pepper and stir a few times

  3. Add dried bean curd and stir a few times

  4. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce and sugar and stir well

  5. Add Chinese celery and stir well

  6. Add jicama and stir well

  7. Keep stirring for two minutes

  8. Add Salt if need

  9. Serve warm


NOTE: All ingredients can be found at a Chinese market.
