A fun way to celebrate Halloween with the kids in the kitchen :)
Ingredients:
2 cups cake flour
1 stick butter, softened in room temperature
1 tablespoon white sugar
4 tablespoon brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Pumpkin seeds for nails
Method:
Preheat oven to 325°F
In a large bowl, mix butter, sugars, egg, and vanilla extract together
Add cake flour to form a dough
Divide dough into 25 small pieces
Roll each piece back and forth with palms into finger shapes, about 4 inches long
Use pointer and middle fingers, about 1 inch apart, to press the dough to form knuckles
Slightly cut a few lines on knuckles with a sharp knife
Place pumpkin seed nails, push into dough to attach
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes
