Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried black fungus

  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped

  • 1 stalk green onion, chopped

  • 2 tablespoons Sichuan fried chili oil

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 1 tablespoon sesame seed oil

  • 1 teaspoon sugar


Method:

  1. Soak fungus in cold water until tender

  2. Drain water

  3. Boil 8 cups of water over medium high heat

  4. Add fungus and cook for 1 minute

  5. Transfer fungus to a bowl of iced drinking water

  6. Set aside for 10 minutes

  7. Drain water

  8. Combine fungus and the remaining ingredients and mix well

  9. Serve cold
